Spring Planting Day-Sunday, May 28, (10am to 4pm)

Come out to the farm and get your hands dirty! Planting fun in the the Chakra garden, chicken coop garden, NEW Enchantress garden. Lunch provided! THIS EVENT IS FULL, but we will have a waiting list for anyone who wants their name on it. VOLUNTEER HERE

Giggling Chi Tree Permaculture class - Saturday, June 3

Kim Chi is back with her permaculture teachings on June 3 to use the farm as a teaching site. We love her enthusiasm and dedication to her craft! Kym Chi is a dedicated advocate of earth stewardship, people care and regenerative action for future resiliency. For more info go to her website

Meditation/ Weeding/ Concert Day - Saturday July 22 (9am to 4pm)

Yes we are having a Concert - a Plant Concert in fact! Come meditate, weed and listen to the plants sing. Light snacks provided. More information in upcoming newsletters! VOLUNTEER HERE

Prairie Sage Permaculture Tours - Saturday, July 29 and Saturday, August 12

We are teaming up with Ted Bahr from Prairie Sage Permaculture to be part of his annual permaculture tours! This tour goes to several sites and finishes up at our farm for a tour of the botanical garden and then a home-made dinner! Two dates to choose from with a limited group of 12 people per tour for an intimate atmosphere. A inspiring way to spend a day connecting to nature and natural farming techniques. Fall Clean-up and Winter Prep - Sunday, October 8, (10am-4pm)

Come help put the garden to bed for the winter! Weeding, straw bedding, mulching, trimming, raking, chicken coop cleaning, chicken petting and hugging and if the sun is out, some relaxing on the deck after a day of work! Light lunch provided. VOLUNTEER HERE

OPEN HOUSE for NEW BUILDING - Saturday, August 26th (10am to 3pm)

Come join us at the farm to celebrate and unveil the new Workshop building...affectionately (or rather infamously) known as “Bluejay House”. Tours will be given several times throughout the day. Light refreshments and snacks supplied. Take a walk in the garden, see the new greenhouse and enjoy a day in the country. See where Senses of the Soul products are made and shop our on-site store. *ALL dates are subject to weather and may change, pack outdoor appropriate clothes, sunscreen, hats and shoes, we promise you will get dirty and maybe even a little wet. Please note that there is limited space per event day so RSVP early! Check back during the summer months as more dates may be added.
